What is Trazodone?

Your doctor will probably start you off on the lowest dose and raise it if necessary. Taking trazodone with food may delay your body's absorption of the medicine, but it's better not to take it on an empty stomach. The best time to take trazodone is after a meal or snack. It usually becomes active within an hour after ingestion.
