  2. Jim-

First and foremost I would love to attend to hear some of the sessions about link building and tactics that other SEO’s use. I’m a forum and blog junkie. Some days all I do is read the SEO boards and blogs gathering information to make me a better SEO.

I would also like to actually meet and network with many of the webmasters and SEO’s that I chat with but never get the ability to meet.

I rarely get involved in discussion at WMW and this will give me the ability to interact with a different webmaster crowd.

I also feel like you (Jim) helped me out a great deal when I first started out in the SEO world and it would be nice to finally meet you.

    Thanks,

    Stuart

  5. Jim,
I stumbled upon your website yesterday and want to thank you first off for providing us with an excellent resource for SEO news and events. The web is becoming congested with spammer sites and I want to say how nice it is for me to read your Blog and get strait to the point. Even if I do not win the contest I appreciate the information that you give us.

I am a newbie to the SEO industry and have been self taught in all of my trades. Our industry is very open about the basics, but when it comes down to the advance SEO/SEM ways we are very tight lip. I would like for you to consider my application for the free pass to WebmasterWorld not only to help me out, but to give it to a up and coming SEOer in the industry. You can not place a value on the skills and networking opportunities that such a conference can bring.

    Thank You,
    Spencer Hoyt

  6. Jim,

I would like to attend first because, to be honest, I just cannot afford doing so on my own. I chose to take the self-taught path a couple of years ago (when I started college) and have been building my business since then. I’ve learned everything I could as far as technology, scripting and seo, but I do lack the business / marketing side of things.
I am still on the word-of-mouth mode of the business and am looking to network and learn more from real professionals in order to grow and better my business.

I think that such show can help a person in my position tremendously on a professional and personal basis, and I would appreciate your consideration. As a Las Vegas resident, I can guarantee you that I will attend all 3 days and benefit the most out of the show.

PS. Since travelling is not an issue, I did have plans of attending, but as family being a first priority, funds had to be allocated otherwise…

    Thanks in advance,
    Gilad.

  7. Too Many “Gilad”s Here…

I will be in Vegas and attend the conference as planned, see ya there.
