If a link can't pass a human review then it's worthless IMO, even if it's currently helping you rank higher (cause if you get penalized that'll kill you, even if you have some natural links). Google will only get better as time goes on, not worse, no point spending time building links that won't be worth anything next year and beyond. I agree completely.
