I've been using eFax for about a year now, it's been great, recently I started getting spam on there as well. Good thing is that it lands in my inbox, and spam faxes have no sender info on them, so there is no waste of paper, just a 'Delete' click...

Yes, it's bad and getting worse. A while back we changed our company policy to "faxes by appointment only".

I see holiday spam faxes at the Aussie govt dept I'm contracting at.

About 6 months ago there was a flood - in terms of faxes being sent to all manner of extensions - some of which found fax machines. I don't get how that's even cost effective.

They had "Attention all staff" or something similar to con people into thinking it was a departmental thing.

Speaking as somebody who likes to print 8 pages to a page, double sided when I need to layout the code I'm cutting, that does piss me off in terms of tree usage...

PS - wondering if the comment post doesn't like my RSS reader - if this comes through twice my apologies

Yes, it's a hidious practice. Never had a "Jesus will save you", but someone must think I love penny stocks.

I'd like to see some figures out what one of these campaigns costs the those receiving the fax. What's your guess? A penny times a a couple hundred thousand?
