We can only make decisions based on what we know at the time. The important lesson from the thinking is for our dearly beloved to know that we have said that pulling the plug in those circumstances is OK. I lived in a vegetative state for almost two years at Albany med and came out of it. After three years of rehab I ended up on wheels but live a good and productive life.
