Not just for link dropping - if you run communities, watch out for people you boot out for being disruptive then turning to Amazon/Alexa reviews for potentially defamatory diatribes.

I orignally had some comments for Henry Boone, but the words I was using wasn’t very professional at all…so instead of posting my own thoughts, I thought I’d see what others had to say about these tactics.

I read the review Henry wrote about WeBuildPages and it wasn’t well done. As WBP is one of SEM website giving away for free the most valuable ressources and tools, he shouldn’t have written that “my site is better than WBP” in a review dedicated to WBP which has the legitimity and reputation his webiste doesn’t have…especially when it appears clearly that his site is crap (sorry Henry but it’s so obvious). It was quite a stupid move. He should have said that WBP is the greatest SEM site ever made (even if it’s not) and then add that he knows a website which is verry good, to but not that good that WBP, but that should be known as it share the same values than WBP and bla bla bla…
But i must admit that the way he managed all the situation after Jim wrote his post about ihis spam review is quite intelligent. Jim is giving him free publicity (that’s because it’s Jim and because he’s a good guy, I don’t know if I would have done the same) and we are now talking about him. But should we ?
