Back in June I noted this Yahoo SERP Layout Test, and a few days ago I found these (see below) new Yahoo test SERPS layouts.

Of note in the first screenshot is #6…see the "Quick links"

In my second screenshot, I had clicked on the down arrow below the search box, which gives a dropdown.

I’m actually suprised that yahoo, google, and msn haven’t gone the way of Ask SERP’s yet.

I was in Seattle this past week, did I miss an announcement of a new Yahoo Search Result Page look?

Sorry if you’ve already been seeing this and if this is old news.

This morning I had 2 emails in my inbox from "SEO Companies" telling me that they can’t find webuildpages.com in the search engines and that I can get a Free evaluation from them to show me what needs to be done, and how their services can help me. This is nothing new, I’m know everyone gets emails like this every day.

I think this afternoon I’ll take one of the 400 sites we own and put a scrapable email on it and then when these companies email me I’ll respond with "Yes, please, tell me how you can help"….and then I’ll publish here the stupid things they recommend….hey, don’t they deservice this for spamming me?…..funny thing is, is that I’ll bet I’ll actually catch some Big Name SEO Companies writing me….you think?

Good idea?

This will be added to our internal required reading list for our link building team. If you want more backlinks too, you should bookmark this list.

These guys might look a bit strange…but they do know what they’re talking about!
